I'm having a probelm with FS9. When I swich views cockpit to Vcockpit the screen go black, and FS9 stops responding. I thank this has to do with the graphics card, but I'm not sher

Batman,
Go to the "Tom's Hardware" website and look at the bar charts of graphic card comparisions using fs2004.

Batman, at all costs steer well clear of this card.... I have one :-/ and it's AWFUL. Maybe i'm doing it down a bit, i mean i'm sure it's better than a lot of cards out there, but for FS9...no. Microsoft Solitaire...yes. ;)
Joking aside, it really is that bad. Unfortunately i have to stick with mine for the moment (1st child on the way...all funds diverted! ;D) but as soon as i can afford it, i'm upgrading.
Rob.
P.S. fps between 9-12 at Heathrow pro scenery, with 80% traffic, all other sliders set to two thirds of max on average.

The 9550 is much better than the FX5200.
You should stick with the 9550 until you can get something like a 6600GT.

You need the generic and all inclusive Catalyst 5.8 drivers here, all the radeon cards use the same driver suite.
http://www.ati.com/products/catalyst/index.htmlWhy are buying low end graphics cards for Simulation use?

Its a budget card at best. I seriously recoimmend a 6600 gt. That will give you a serious performence increase.

I recommend the catalyst 5.8 with control panel.
