What is the difference between SATA 150 and SATA II interfaces?  Is there a significant increase in performance from one to the other?  I want to get tha fastest 7200 rpm HDD I can.  Once again please shed some light.

SATAII drives offer  higher bandwidth and Native Command Queing (well, most do). It also offers higher transfer speeds.

Unless you do intensive HD read/writing, there is no significant performence gain.

Just for gaming, a SATA 150 is perfectly fine. BTW, your mobo must also support SATA II to be able to ultilize SATAII HD to their fullest.
