Do you have to reboot for AA settings?

If you change your AA settings through your card, do you have to reboot for them to take effect?  The 5200s card settings were hidden (I had two tech guys look for it), until some guy worked on it last week and now there's an icon on my tool bar for the card settings.  I was tooling around with the AA, attempting to fix the awful jaggies (they're so bad the game is unplayable) in FS, but I saw no improvement (yes, I set AA to OFF in FS).  No change.

So, do you have to reboot for them to take effect or am I in the hole $250 for a new vid card?

EDIT: THAT FIXED IT THAT FIXED IT THAT FIXED IT!  Captain Torphy takes off from Rome to New York in his trusty MD-11 tomorrow morning, his first virtual flight in over two months! YES! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D (never mind the 27 hours I racked up to fill the void in REAL life, those are unimportant :P)

Looks like it was the anisotropic filtering, not the AA ::) Stupid me!

While thats a great idea, heres the problem-I have to help pay for my flying this summer, I need $250 for d-day, and I need stuff left over for games and a couple vacations, so even though I'm loaded right now I'm pinching pennies.

In answer to the origional question, no, you don't have to Re-Boot after altering driver settings.  ;)
