Laptop Dell

Postby luke » Sat May 07, 2005 1:10 pm

6 year old Dell Laptop, 500ghz, win98.

some keys with the slightest touch create immediately many repeats of the letter represented.

We tried all the Ctrl. Pnl. keaboard adjustments.

Anybody knows if it can be opened to clean the base of the keys?

Thnx     uli

me I was using an old ibm 390E (333mhz) until a few months ago.. ;)

Mind you it was for only word processing and nothing else....

I say go ahead and try.. ;) If it helps it helps and if it doesn't well I hope you got some money to get another one..  ;D
