ok, I am recently going to buy a new computer, and I am loocking for a good gaming pc.

A friend told me about alienware, he showed me the website and I was hoocked.

I know you can build your own, but I would rather buy anm already built pc by them.

I am currently loocking at the Area-51

Alienware is WAY overpriced.  You can get the same spec box in a not so sexy case built and you'll save a TON of money.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

Yeah, consider builting the system yourself.

You can get the components you want. Plus, building it yourself gies you great satisfaction both in yourself and more importantly, in your wallet.

Its much cheaper to built a high-end system then to order it.

www.ibuypower.com If you really want something thats Alienware Quality, go here. Its about $100 within what you would have spent on building it yourself, and they look way better. I used this sight to give me ideas when I build rigs. But seriously them or www.cyberpowerinc.com

I'll suggest taking a look at Magnum-pc.com. It's run by a forum mod of the Il2 forums (hunter82), so they know what a gamer wants and expects. They custom build anything you want or you can choose from some pre-built systems. Probably a bit cheaper than alienware and it's as good as building your own since they build each pc individually and test unit using off the shelf parts.

Buy an Alienware if you've got money to burn!

Otherwise, find a local PC user group or club etc, get talking to the guys there and ask, for a small fee, if somebody will build you a good spec PC.

You'll get far more "bang for buck" trust me.  ;)

Yeah Aienware is to Apple in the way of overpriced. If you dont want to  build then I suggest you check out ebay, thats were I got my first good PC, worked well untill the day I fried it. I do say build its not that bad and its fun, may save the wallet for a while untill you start thnking "hmmm now how can I get those extra 1000 3dmarks, or hmm what to do to get those extra 10 FPS." It is fun though and will save you lots of cash....really ;D

ya and my computer is twice as good as yours and cost me half of what you spent. Dude just build, as long as you read the instruction manuals (written at a second grade reading level) you should be able to come up with a sweet rig

Yup like the saying goes "RTFM"  rember I was doin a buid with my first experience with sata. I knew I had to install drivrs so I install them through Win setup like I knew. Well I must spend man im so embarrased to sayy but 3 hours of trying to get the damn thing to wrk before I picked up the Seagate instructions and read "make this mootable floppy" "and run this program then go from there" 15 Minutes later we had windows installing. Boy did I feel like a dumb ass.
