USB is to, sometimes depending on what operating system you use..

for my keyboard I prefer it to be usb because I've had trouble with usb keyboards...

mice I'm indifferent about.. ;)

Dosen't matter much I doubt they need much bandwith but I prefer USB because they ffit easyer and dont fall out etc as easy.

USB because I use wireless keyboad and mice.

PS/2 is just too old, though, performence wise, it makes no difference.

It makes no difference perfomance wise provided your PC is fast enough. With very old PCs, sometimes USB mouse response is stuttering. USB is a little more demanding in terms of system resources.
If your PC is equipped with PS/2 connectors, use those for keyboard and mouse, because you certainly will make better use of USB ports than to connect input devices.
Unless you need to hot plug keyboard and mouse: in that case use USB (you can damage both the device and the mobo if you hot plug stuff in the PS/2 connectors).
