Duel monitors and unlocked windows.

Postby expat » Fri Apr 22, 2005 2:59 pm

I recall that this topic was once covered, but to be honest trawling 80 pages of hardware tips, I hope that I will be forgived for taking the easy way out.
My question is, does anyone know how I can configure FS9 to save the windows that I have unlocked and dragged to my second screen? Is it possibe to configure each aircraft for a different set of unlocked windows, or a generic setup for all.
Thanks in advance

Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I believe you have to have the sim in windowed mode? (alt + enter) either that or virtual cockpit mode.. ;)

Haven't ever done it myself so I'm not sure, but that's what I remember.. ;)

I have already transported the windows to the second monitor. What I want to know is how to make them stay after a flight is finished. The drag and drop is only good for one flight. All must be redragged for each new flight.  I wnat to configure it so that when I fly , the windows automatically open to the second monitor

Saving has no effect on the windows. I read in the forum whilst looking for nothing inparticular that it is something to do with "a" config file, but I can no longer find the info. I have now been through just about the whole arcive.
