sorry, I have to ask

Ok, I know, I should've done the research on my own, but I have this french proj and.... oh, forget it.

I'm looking for a nice joystick set that also includes a twist handle. I am definitely hardcore enough to get rudder pedals, but I have "normal" friends that come over a lot and I don't want to have to explain it to them (and then subsequently take crap for it :P).

The saiteks all sound nice but it's not clear whether or not they include twist handles. Also, I'm kind of anal about thrust slider-I don't use sidewinders because of the flimsy throttle flippy thing they come with, I prefer the type found on logitech models.

Once again, I apologize (as a forum regular, I am aware of how agitating it is when a question is asked three bazillion times)-but I figured since I had a specific requirements I'd go right on ahead and be lazy ;D

btw, the sudden interest (after years of logitech ****) is because I think I'm gonna ask for LOMAC for my birthday. I generally avoid hand-flying aircraft b/c I can't increase the center spring strength in my wingman (yes, I've done it the way you're supposed to-it doesn't retain the settings), and I figure I really need to get over it.

Thanks in advance ;)

LOL, when I said "expalin it to them" I was refering to why i had a big-ass set of rudder pedals, not how to use them ;D (not exactly fs phanatics)

Right, I know I don't want the sidewinder, just wanted to know of a high-quality stick that also has a twist handle (and strong center-spring strength!)

;D Well the Saitek should suit you well then.  It does have a harder spring than the Sidewinders and also has a lot more resistance on the throttle too, well on my Saitek Cyborg Evo it does!

Best bet is go to a PC store and have a tryout.  I did this down my local PC world then came home and ordered it online.
