System Issues

Hello all!

Any system guys who might be able to lend a computer illiterate a helping hand?  All I want to do is fly helicopters, poorly I'm sorry to say, and this is killing me.

Everything was fine for awhile, then it seemed to be running slow when I was flying Sunday, screen freezing, etc., so I uninstalled FS9 and reinstalled.  Now when I try to open it, my screen goes black and I get a message that says "Video Mode Not Supported."  Any ideas?  No changes were made to my computer settings from the time I initially installed FS9 until now, so I'm at a loss.

I have Windows XP Home on an IBM 2.2 ghz computer, Intel Extreme Graphics card (with up to date driver,)...  Not sure if any other info would be helpful, but let me know.

Are there requirements for monitor settings?  My resolution is set to 1280/1024, Medium color quality, 60 hertz refresh rate, 96 DPI setting...  I'm grasping at straws, maybe.

Thanks for your help!

Glad its sorted.  Sounds like your DX9 or vid drivers may have got corrupted.  No good now but that woulda been my first guess.  Or possibly a driver conflict.

That doesn't happen very often.  8)
