Saitek X45: HELP!!

I've started other threads thinking this might be a software thing, but in a nutshell:
1: Recently re- installed CFS3.
2: Re-calibrated X45 with CFS3 open.
3: CFS3 and PF seemed OK; went back to FS9.
4: Suddenly, all kinds of uncommanded aileron/rudder movement in all three sims!!
5: Re-calibrated X45 with FS9 open.
6: Still whacked- out, and then noticed diminished power (won't go near max RPM), but only in SOME aircraft (including defaults). NOTE: this is the case with Saitek throttle OR key commands.
7: Re-calibrated with only Saitek program open.
CFS3 now OK. PF now OK.
FS9: OK, but still low power in some aircraft.
8:  Re-installed FS9, re-installed Saitek, updated both, etc., etc.
STILL have no max power !! (so far, seeing this in default                C172,  Extra 300, Piper J3, Ford Trimotor,
and Curtiss Jenny).

A look at aircraft cfg files shows nothing unusual...

I even opened up the throttle device to look for any mechanical problem- seems fine. If this is a hardware problem, I guess it's a bad pot, or maybe the board.

Has ANYBODY out there had a similar problem? I'd hate to replace this thing only to find myself in the same situation... :(

use the calibrate joystick within the game settings and see if it makes a diference.
Also try uninstalling the drivers and see if windows already have some drivers for it, or if there are new ones available from Saitek

All of this began just after I did that (thru CFS3). Also, I uninstalled/reinstalled  AND  updated everything, including Saitek. And yes, I've tried re-calibrating thru FS9; no luck.
Thanks anyway...
