Free computers are nice...

Postby Wing Nut » Wed Dec 29, 2004 3:46 pm

Well, I posted earlier about my sister giving me a burned out computer, and $29.00 and a couple hours later, I have a free 850 Mb, 30 Gig HD, 128 MB Ram test bed for my future expiriments.  I may give it to my 16 yo for his room.  All I had to do was replace the power supply and that was it.  It sat in the sis's attic for two years because of that...  ::)

I have an old Sony Vaio. Not the one before my new system but the original Viao that came out over 6 years ago. The hard drive went bad and Sony wanted 750 to send me a new 10 gig hard drive. Now you can pick up a Maxtor 160GB Serial ATA 7200rpm 8MB Hard Drive for $105.00. I am thinking of doing that because my 3 year old has suddenly taken an interest to the Nickelodeon site! Can you believe at 3 years old she can click on things, move them and understands how to use a mouse!  :o

She plays on my other Viao because the only person that touches my XDreamer Simulator Machine is ME!!!  :P
