New PC spec's help

I am looking to buy a new pc for flight simulator and was wondering if a Dell Diminsion 3000 has enough kick to enjoy flight simulator 2004 along with 98 . Here are the spec's

Personally I wouldn't get a Celeron CPU.  They are a budget cpu with a low L2 cache.  This is why they are cheaper though and if its the best you can afford then you wil have to stick with it.

If not try to go for a P4, many of those have 1mb L2 cache which is a vast improvement over the Celerond 256kb.

I wouldn't buy a dell.

They can't be upgraded or so I heard.

Dells can now be upgraded ........ they even give you a manual to show you how to do most things. They have even got their customer services sorted.

Yes they can my friend bought a Dell and upgrade his RAM and video card. Yes as for the Celeron I would go for a P4 because Celerons are like Gixer said they are budget CPUs and will cost you more money in the long run... go for a P4(to bad Dell dosent have AMD :-/ :() You might want to look into building your sysem if you feel comfortable doing that ;)
