I had to reformat my computer not long ago, and now whenever I am using the mic to talk my voice comes through my speakers, anyone know how to fix this, it hadn't did this before????? It is a Soundblaster, only other changes are, I recently installed SP2, and Norton AV, wondering if one of those could be the source of the problem?????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Double click on Speaker down on task bar to the right.  Tick 'Mute' on the Microphone bit.  Your mic will still work with other programs but will not come outta your speakers now!

Somtimes you need to turn on Mic boost too. Can do this by activating the advanced controls.  Where the advanced button is on the microphone hit it and tick the 'Boost mic' button.
