hello, I am new to forums so please bear with me.
My problem is that I have an early set of CH Products Pro Pedals that I am trying to use with a Micrisoft force feedback stick. I have been told that they are incompatable, so I have been looking for a suitable joystick. Any ideas?

Hi welcome to SimV!! are both game port or usb if they are not both the same then you won't be able to use them together! Hope this helps. Regards Chris

Gixer,

There ARE usb pedals available.  CH Pro Pedals come in both gameport (old) and usb (new) versions.  The problem apparently is MIXING them at the same time.  But aI seem to remember heariong somewhere that it CAN be done.... just takes some fancy footwork.  I just don;t remember where I heard that.  Hopefully someone else does.

best,

..............john

Thanks for the response, perhaps I should bin the force feed joystick and look for one that is compatable with the pedals. The problem there is that most of the sticks on the market now have twist (rudder) handles and USB ports. Any suggestions?

I'm sure you should be able to disable the twist function of the 'stick...

Hi You should be able to have both the stick and pedals working together. BUT ONLY if they are both "gameport" conection or both "usb"  When you start flight sim go to settings and then change the rudder from the stick axis to the pedals this should then give you what you're after. Good luck. Regards Chris

I think I might get the pedals to use with my force feedback 2 stick. Then I might get the CH yoke. I think its pretty good.

Ben,

If you fly GA or commercial heavy metal.... the yoke is an AMAZING improvement.  But not for "crank and bank".
