Construction starts soon on my new box...the old P4 1.7, 512 MB PC 2700 and GF2 card are just not cutting it any more.

New box:

P4 3.2 GHz CPU
512 MB of PC 3200 (Dual Channel)

PSU in the new box is being upgraded to 450 Watt fresh from the store, I get a trade-in for the packaged PSU.

Trying to squeeze enough cash out to make the vid card a 6800...we'll see.

I wish I had the cash for a new one. You think your old ones bad:

Shame your not closer to me Dan. I live in Southampton.  Just built my new rig and have a bundle left over which I am gonna sell rather cheap.

I have a :

K7N2 Delta ILSR mobo
AMD 2800+ cpu
1x 512ddr Corsair XMS ram PC2700 (333MHz)
And a big Coolmaster aero thingy cpu cooler.

All this for

The old box is going to be retained as a surfing machine...I'll be doing all my websurfing on this machine to isolate the other from most viruses.
