CH Products USB Yoke & Pro Pedals - not recognized

Postby reg767 » Tue Aug 10, 2004 10:58 pm

Hi,
I have Win XP home in a P4 celeron sytem, 512k ram, enough HD.  I am installing the CH products' USB Yoke and Pro Pedals, but FS 2002 does not recognize them at all.  I will pay someone to resolve this - I've spent a week on this problem already and I can't get FS2002 to recognize these 2 items.  It's too frustrating to further describe.

I'll provide my phone and will make any pay arrangements you like.
Thanks very much,
Bob

Unusual Bob, it should.
Okay in FS2k2 try going into Settings and Calibrate Joystick and see if you can get it to respond there. Also make sure no other USB devices are connected, they tend to interfere in FS2k2 even when not in use.

You can also open the control panel then go to the system icon and look to see if windows is seeing the yoke & pedals if not something is very wrong.
Are you sure the usb ports are good. and everything is plugged in ok.
After pluging in the yoke and peddals when you powered up the computer it should have found new devices if not make sure everything is plugged in ok.
You might even have to open the case & make sure the ports are plugged into the mother board. People sometimes forget to plug these back in if they had to remove the case to add a card or memory.

I am sorry to hear that someone else is having problems with CH yoke, which I also purchased recently. When I try to calibrate mine in FS I get this message "Gameport or Gameport Driver not properly configuered" I have tried everything including contacting CH support via email (several times) no response, needless to say I am very frustrated.
