My FS02 is so dreary and dark on the moniter screen.
Mid-day looks like late in the afternoon.  My moniter brightness control is turned clear up, and seems plenty bright for all other general use, but not for FS.

I just upgraded from Windows 98 to XP.   It was dark for 98 too, but I was able to go into Display, to Moniter, and increase the brightness to a satisfactory level.   But Xp doesn't not have this adjustment.

Why is it so dark???   It's no fun to fly when green country looks like a big tar pit.    :'(

Help!!!   I have Celeron processor 667MHz, and 310 MG of RAM, incase that's important to know.  I'm not real computer smart.

My guess would be either a video card problem or your monitor, but since you stated it was fine for general use, probably the video card.

it is more then likely ur monitor i had this same problem with my old one but here is something that may or maynot help right click desktop click properties settings tab oress advanced  color- or graphics properties( cant remember) tab there should be adjust ments for gamma brightness and contrast
