Power Supply Units (PSU)

Just a little friendly advice on PSU's.  I build my own computers.  3 in the last 2 years as a matter of fact.  One for me and one for each of my sons. I cant stress enough the need for a decent PSU.  I, like a lot of people buy an ATX Case that already comes with a PSU. I pay around 50 bucks for it, and I go home a happy camper. I figure a PSU is A PSU. Power is Power.  Who cares. Just plug it in and away you go. WRONG bigtime. I just built this AMD a couple weeks ago. Was playing Combat Flight Sim and right in the middle of a dive bomb, I fried the PSU.  I removed the Unit and went to the store for a new one. The one I fried was a cheap tinny crappy piece of junk as compared to a good new one.  When the clerk put a quality Unit in my hand I couldnt believe the difference.  It was well constructed, and VERY HEAVY. A sign of quality.  Also very expensive to the tune of 140 bucks. So far Ive run it very heavily with no troubles. Invest in a decent PSU.  Many people skimp in this area.
