What happened to MS joysticks?

Is Microsoft still producing joysticks?  I have looked about everywhere for one, but i haven't found any.

I believe that Microsoft found it un-economical to compete with the other joystick manufactures, Logitech, Saitek, etc... ...!
Which is a shame really, as the quality of the Microsoft  joysticks was first-class... ...!

I have an unfounded theory......

Suppose the support staff at MS spent 85% of their time trying to get kids joysticks to work instead of getting on with M$ business.......  ;D

It's just a thought.
