If you build a similar system yourself it will be cheaper.

Personally I wouldnt choose that mobo or that ram or that G/card. I'm sure you could build yourself a slightly better tower for around the same price. I am also very sceptical about buying ellecy goods off of ebay. I prefer to use someone like
http://www.overclockers.co.uk and have good customer service incase anything goes wrong.

Here is a system I built off the overclockers site:
AMD Athlon 64 3000 (Socket 754) - Retail (CP-070-AM)

I wouldn't get that PC after my experience with the cheaper mobo & component manufacturers. You get alot of Asrock & Jetway in packages on ebay, try and get yourself a nice system with quality (stable) components. If you have the knowhow then building a system like Gixer suggests would be a very good option, or get a good package deal advertised in the large PC magazines.
I wouldn't bother with the 9800pro though - go for one of the new ones if you can, then you have a few months future proofing!

I go with you on that one Birdman. Was tryin to keep to the same budget but if you can afford it go for a 6800GT / Ultra or X800XT / PE
