Hi,
I wonder if anyone can advise me with what is probably a daft question?!?
Is it possible to use a set of foot pedals that are sold with a steering wheel (used by the car racing sim fraternity) as rudder pedals that will work with a joy stick - if so can anyone advise me of a set that work?

All the best,
Uhu_Kettenhund.

Don't know why you can't?
The pedals sold for Flight Sims can be used for cars.
I'm no professional but I would say you would have to configure it for the rudder???
Your manual (or manufacturer website) would be the best place to look for the answer.

problem with car foot pedals is that the two pedals act independantly and are on two seperate channels.
rudder pedals work against each other - ie. pressing the left pedal in pushes the right pedal out. and as such is just controlls the one channel.
so if you used car pedals, i thik you would find something like the accelerator pedal controling the rudder pedals - fully out bieng full left , fully depressed bieng full right (or vice versa, or maybe the brake pedal)

Thanx folks,
I make tha a "possible", so I'll get in touch with a manufacturer!
I was hoping that someone had actually tried it... but it looks like its my turn to be first!
If I get any sort of response from the makers, I'll post it on the forum.
