What is the best video card for fs2004 not over $49.99?
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2800+ 2.09 GHz
512MB of RAM
112GB Hard Drive
Windows XP Pro
Radeon 7000 64MB 3D Graphics Card

I got an Nvidia mg force 64mg X8 and it work for me
maybe i'll be contradicted here but i can load full scenery complexity(high)and it do its job very well

I don't really think there is a good video card under $50. But a Geforce2 is about $49.99.

You'll be hard pressed to find a good card for FS2004 for under $50. Try taking a look at the Geforce FX5200. They retail for around $50-90 US depending on what extra features it has. That's what I use. It's a good value card.

So as not to upset the ATI fans, there's also the Radeon 9200. It's equal to the FX5200 but it doesn't have DirectX 9.0 compatability. It sells for the same.

Look around for a second hand GF4 TI4200 128mb 8x AGP Card, or advertise for one. (or shell out around $80 for one.)

That's about the bare minimum for a decent card at a low price. It supports everything in FS2004, despite what you hear about DX9 support, it works just fine.

You want to aim for a card that hits at least 50 on this chart.
