This is kind of a broad range here, but is there any reason why the motherboards' USB ports wouldn't be working? I've plugged the joystick into every port it has, and the little light won't... well... light. The joystick was working fine just a couple days ago, even though I don't use it. Just trying to install it... do I need to "Add New Hardware?"

Check in device manager to see if your USB ports are there or in error. Unless you have other USB devices already working, in which case I'd say the stick is faulty.
It's possible for the connectors to slip off the pins on the mainboard but not likely, and you should have a couple of usb outlets from the mainboard group with no external connections.

I went there, and it has a exlamation point next to it. It says it's not working because it cannot find the right source...
Windows cannot determine the settings for this device. Consult the documentation that came with this device and use the Resource tab to set the configuration. (Code 34)

Try to re-install the USB drivers from there.
Ah, the resource tab, try properties for that device there in device manager, maybe it's an IRQ conflict or windows hasn't allocated it an IRQ. Could mean a trip into the BIOS for a setting change. Did you change a Bios setting lately? Or, did the system reset BIOS defaults?

Nah, I changed the BIOS alittle bit. I'll check that out later cause I really don't want to resart... And I'll try reinstalling, thanks...
