Turn off antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. (Do this in your driver settings!)
Drop game resolution to 16 bit color (1024x768x16) or 800x600x16 if still slow.
Experiment with the games graphics settings until you get better performance.
The 440 isn't the slickest card, but it should run CFS3 as long as it's an AGP card and not PCI.
