Vid. Card Advertisement :-)

Hey all! Just purchased a new video card off of the internet the other day...

Before installation I was consistently recieving a 3d mark03 score of 823-825 marks.  This was with tweaked graphics and lots of enhancements to my FX5200 128mb card...

I went with the Chaintech FX5700LE for $130 before rebate $99 USD after rebate...256MB of raw power! :-) :o

With the basic drivers that came on the CD with the card I was able easily obtain a 3dmark03 score of 2099 marks without any tweaking or changing of settings in the display window...

Needless to say the sim seems to work wonderfully well, I now have no stuttering (6-8FPS) around airports the size of Heathrow, I'm now seeing FPS of 35-40, where I would see 6-8! :-) Mind you I never really had a problem with the ole 5200, but when I got a decent deal on this new one, and someone else has already bought the other one...:-)

Now I can enjoy the sim, without the tweaking of the vid card drivers, or changing settings in the sim! ;-)  ;D

I have been waiting years for this kind of quality! :-)

Now it's time to change the sig. as well...:-)

I also got another 120GB drive to install in a raid system so that I will never lose anything again! :-)

From the 3DMark03 score i would expect it is an AGP, also it is a 5700LE.
