Posted: Thu Jan 15, 2004 5:38 amI'd post mine, but buy the time I get the 178mb download of 3dmark '03 on my dialup, we could all be dead!
anyway it's always around 12,000 in 3dmark 2001 at stock clocking and blended driver settings at 1024x768x32 res, antialiasing off. Driver: Detonator 43.51 (an oldy but a goodie)(the latest driver scores only 10,000 on my rig!)
xp2600+ on nForce2 chipset, 1024mb PC2700 (faster than 3200 on this machine) GF4 TI4200 128mb, 8x AGP

Posted: Thu Jan 15, 2004 7:18 amI have downloaded 3DMark01 but when I run it it complains about not having DirectX8. Can't it run with DirectX9?

Posted: Thu Jan 15, 2004 4:35 pmoh yeah forgot to mention, when i ran that benchmark, I had my CPU underclocked... it was giving me problems, i am still very pleased with that score

Posted: Sat Jan 17, 2004 4:56 pm2019 in 3D Mark 2003 , 8700 average in 2001 SE ! - No different from my old p4 1.8, 400fsb mobo etc..... 
My benchmark scores tell me I need a new Graphics card, my "real world" use, tells me something quite different - the two machines are world apart, despite an almost exact same score.
I remain to be convinced!

No it hasn't.... They gave an estimate about a fortnight ago that it would come on monday or tuesday but when we rang them on wednesday they said they were having a slight problem. (eeek!) They said then it would come towards the end of this week. So its anyones guess.....
The question is, what do I write o my sig now?

I have to agree with you! I thought the whole Idea of a benchmark was to have exactly the same settings for the things that effect the test so you could compare computers at there core performance level. What is the point if its not a fair test?
