Display Prob....any ideas?

Postby GooseSDE » Thu Jan 29, 2004 11:18 pm

Hey all....was wondering if you could help me out. I just built a computer, and my new MAG 17" LCD Flat panel Monitor has a very tiny(and i mean tiny) green dot that appears on screen, and this is straight out of the box. It's annoying, but not a major problem, but i am unsure if there is a monitor setting that will fix this little problem and make it go away, and i just dont know about it yet. Any help would be much apprecited in troubleshooting this matter, and i would like to know if anyone else has ever had this problem before?

                                         Thanks                    Goose

You better take it back, it sounds like a dead pixel, which would be annoying mid-screen.  Bummer   :'(

From what I hear that is a common thing for lcd screens.
