PC Power supply query

I run an applet which monitors the CPU and system temperature as well as the various Power Supply voltages.

Only when running FS9, I get an occasional warning that the 3.3 volt line has hit the minimum voltage monitor level which is currently set to 3.00 volts.  This lasts a second or so - my Graphics card is Nvidia FX5600.  Can anyone indicate if this warning is anything to worry about ?  The mean 3.3 volt running level is about 3.10 - 3.15 on my system

Thanks for any advice

Thanks for your in-depth reply.  I was of the same opinion as to perhaps the graphics card loading down the PSU but was unsure which voltage it drew heavily on.  My 3.3 normall hangs around 3.10 and I set the lower alarm to 3.00 when I first experienced the effect.  Nevertheless it occasionally disp below 3.0.

It is interesting that a 'heavier' PSO did not have any effect - mine is 300 watt.  Your reply has saved me a lot of experimenting !

Best regards
