Hi guys, I would like you (yes, you) to try and give me 10 ways to get more from my measly [glb]500mhz[/glb]processor without spending any money (yet). I do the virus software thing, but i recall something about Ctrl+Alt+Del to help.... None of these things must hurt a family computer, otherwise you might not see me much around here for a while!  :P
Last night I broke the port hand u/c leg off of a 747-400. My excuse is pulling between 4 and 8 fps!
Help me, i'm desperate! (lol)
Dan G

P.s. Is there any other simmers with sub ghz processors? I thought not...

You can pick up some speed by going to My Computer  open it   right clickin to Open Propertys  then  go to tab .....Performance   then  File system left click  then go to that panel in the box  and change it from a Deck Top PC  to    a Net work  server   click Ok  and apply  and you should pick UP some speed  and not Hurt a thing, its not  over clocking .
                                        Crash~~`~`~>)))))))

My #2 machine, recently upgraded to an FX5200 128MB, has chugging away at its core none other than a.......

667mhz

Processor!

Runs FS2K,FS2K2 & CFS2 Great! - CFS3 runs like a dog on this little beastie, the reason it became my #2 machine, as well documented by me, CFS3 still runs like a dog!

old tub
I like that a lot. I think it will stick! Crash - I was rather dubious at first, but I did it, and wow. I gained 5 - 7fps on cockpit view with no windows open. That makes it 20fps now, 11 - 14fps on virtual cockpit.
Many thanx, Dan Garner
