Hi lads...!
I bet this has been covered before... ::)...!
But here we go again.... ;)...!

I have an N-Vidia Ge-Force 4 graphics card with the facility to run dual display monitors.
My operating system is Win '98 SE.
Is it possible to display the normal, various aircraft views on the main monitor, and drag, and retain the radios, gps, etc, on the second monotor? (The mouse pointer moves between the two monitor screens).
If it can be done, please give me full details of the changes in the "Display properties", stage by stage*, and what is required in FS 2002/2004 to achieve this... ;D...!
LOL..!

Many thanks... 8)...!

Paul.

I think all you have to do is right click on the panel, select undock window, drag the window onto the second display and that should do it. I am sure that someone else would know better than me but since I am waiting to get my second monitor I am not entirelly sure that this is right.
Hope you figure it out, and let us know what works when you do.

Kevin

Hi,
with your Nvidia card on two monitors you will have the option of either having two independant displays or one display over two monitors i.e an effectivve resolution of 2048 x 768 (2x 1024 by 768) or higher.
I'm using win xp so it is slightly different to 98 display properties,  I cant really remember how the display properties worked in 98, however the Nvidia display properties located on your task bar should be all you need. it allows you to set up your screens as you wish,
In fs2004 set it to window mode then open a guage window, right click and select unlock, then drag it to the other monitor. repeat for all the gauges/windows you require.
You can then go back to full screen mode and the new windows should remain on the other monitor, they remain scalable and you can reposition them.

Must say that once you use two monitors you'll soon want three! theres no going back to a single monitor once you have played with three
(ps found a place in Gloucester that sells 2nd hand monitors very cheap, bought two 21" dells for 66 quid!

Hope this helps.

ps anyone know where I can get a hovercraft for 2004/2
