Simviation Forums

I am looking for a good throttle.  I see that most throttles come paired with a joystick.  Will they work with any joystick?  I've been looking at the HOTAS Cougar, but the price is really high and I don't think I need all those options.  However, if I add the price of the CH Pro Throttle with a comparable stick I am almost at the price of the cougar.  Anyone have suggestions?

I've never tried it but I don't think I'd want a throttle separate from my joystick. There are already enough things to fall off the desk as it is in severe turbulence  ;D without having another one.
