  Got that 5200 card myself, you'll do ok with it. I havn't had any real problems with mine.

Like Blue1820, I have used both and find the Nvidia superior. I had a bought a Radeon 8500LE and had nothing but problems with it. I traded it in for an FX5200, no problems at all.

im sure the 5200 will be obsolete before 2006 and there will be a more advanced card out capable of much better and probably at a cheaper price

It only works on the ati 9000, 9100
(some say it didn't work for them)

Thank you Havoc, it worked like a charm. The horizon haze is back, I am so happy! I am uninstalling FS2002 as we speak, there is no real reason to go back. FS2004 runs better than FS2002 in my computer.

I have been looking for the fix for eons (the first week after FS2004 release). I think somebody should spread the word more broadly.

I am considering the GeForce FX 5200 or the VisionTek Xtasy 9200 AGP cards.  Both have 128 mb.  Any advice from those with experience using the FX 5200?  Any feedback about installation issues or updates?
