joystick problems

i have a very old CH Products Flightstick. the only problem is (besides not very many buttons) that the throttle wheel on the left side of the joystick doesnt work at all.by this i mean that it turns, but it doesnt affect the throttle in the game. is there something that i have to do to get the throttle to work?

You could try to re-calibrate the stick or maybe go and see if there are new drivers for it from the manufacturer ?

i looked in the site, but its so old they dont have anything for it. i guess ill just have to get a new joystick
