FSX Crashing

Postby lvrpdln » Sat Jul 12, 2014 3:32 pm

Hi all. I have been out today and bought an ASUS M11AD Desktop with Windows 8.1. Its not the best machine but i thought it would do me. FSX keeps crashing on me and i have read on a few websites that it is because FSX is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Is this correct and does anyone on hear have a quick fix? The guy in the shop told me that this machine would easily run FSX so if it doesn't, I will be taking it back!!

Thanks

Mark

I used FSX on windows 8, and now am using it in 8.1. It works great, and FS9 also, and x-plane too...
There was a post on the web to make it work on win 8.
You should look for a small exe and find it. Good luck.
I see no reason why your pc would be unable to run FSX
