Oculus Rift arrived today

Postby waspiflab » Mon Dec 09, 2013 7:53 pm

I cannot tell you how much fun this thing is. In the past 6 hours I've been to space in the middle of an epic battle surrounded by meteors, I've had my head cut off by the French guillotine, I've got really really s##t scared walking haunted hallways though I have no issues with horror games normally, rode 6 coasters, went crowbar bashing in full 360 3D in hl2, flown as a dragon burning s##t, skydived to my death, rock climbed, floated around the solar system seeking all the planets, had flys in my ears and spiders up my arm and so on and on and on. Though the devkit has low resolution the vast scale of everything when your in the rift is mind blowing eg the rock climbing is vertigo tastic, you really feel like your up there hanging on for dear life.
