OK... that is where we are at...

The forums are a bit goofy.. something going on with the server again

Ok lets see if we can tighten things up

DRAM Configuration
Tcl 5
Tcrd 4
Trp 4
Tras 12

Advanced Memory Settings
Trc 18

Idle Cycle Limit 8

If unstable, raise TRAS back to 15, TRC back to 22 and set the Idle Cycle Limt back to AUTO and see if it stabilizes.

If still not stable, set

Tcrd 5
Trp 5
Tras 12

Advanced Memory Settings
Trc 18

Idle Cycle Limit 8

If still not stable set it all back to how we had it:

DRAM Configuration
Tcl 5
Tcrd 4
Trp 4
Tras 12

Advanced Memory Settings
Trc 22
Twr 6
Max Async Latency 8ns
Idle Cycle Limit AUTO
Dynamic Idle Cycle Counter AUTO

Once finished here we will bump the AI Skew. How this turns out will determine the SKEW level

Looking at that again, when the forum is up,.. I think I pushed the Idle Cycle Limit too low. That may be one that should remain at either AUTO or 128

Good..

Just want to make sure on the Idle Cycle Limit... That may be one that should remain at either AUTO or 128. I had posted 8 but thought it may be too low.

What did you set it to just so I know where we are?

The next change will be the AI CLOCK SKEW and PCIe Frequency Control

Overclocking
NB to SB HT Frequency [200]

Idle cycle limit is set at 8

Do you want me to change it while I am in the bios?

If it will run 8... thats faster.

I have doubts about that one possibly causing a blowout under a load.

Let's bump it up to 32 and make those other setting changes

When it boots back into Windows, go ahead and run a 3DMark test and see if its stable..

Did it blow up?

If you are having some stability problems the 5-4-4-12

Alright so it would not boot with PCIe set to 125?

and PCIe is back to 100 now with the skew at 300?

At AUTO, the skew is not in the loop... its only in the loop if it is set to manual no matter what advance is set to
