For whatever reason, it really seems odd that they would have done that, unless they could not get it to work right so modified what they had to make it look good.

My Quaker is on my desk trying to steal my Pepsi. Will get back to you shortly

Peaches, my moluccan was a lush.

She went for the Tanqueray Gin when ever she saw an opening, probably the green bottle, and if she got it, she turned into one mean...

wait, that was my ex

no, it was both. Sometimes I could not tell them apart when they had a drink

I am simply not finding a better combo and the reason is because we can not exceed the current Vcore and CPU speed.

I am still ticking away here a bit more but it looks to me as if we are about the best we are going to get. If I dont find another possibility here in a minute, I think what we will do is see about firming up that last set with some timing tweaks

OK

I did find a better combo but not because the memory is faster but because the FSB will be higher

Everything can remain the same as the last run but change:

CPU Frequency 356
CPU Multiplier 9x
Memory Clock Frequency [DDR2 533]

CPU<-> NB HT Speed [3xCPU Frequency]

Let me know the CPU speed, Memory and HT are correct

They should be:

CPU: 3204
Memory: 457.7
HT 1068

I am heading back to the house. Will log back in about 15-20 minutes

Excellent..

try the following just to see the influence on the memory

NB to SB HT Frequency [200] change it to [208] and post the CPU and Memory tab from CPUz

If it boots and runs, also try a 3Dmark run for stability

any problems, set it back to [200]

Not going anywhere without my keys...  ;D

Question, and then I am hitting the road for the house

I see the memory timing is 5-6-6-15  22 2T

Would it not run at 5-5-5  and you set it to 5-6-6 ?

Interesting the NB frequency @ 208 had no effect on the memory speed. That means they remove the influence the variable has on that calculation when ever the RAM ratio method is used.

Leave it at 208 for now, but we may set that back.

If everything remains stable we will finish up by seeing how tight we can get the timings, perhaps set a low row cycle time and then boost the PCIe system.

Since you have a save on the default BIOS you can do a compare on the 3DMark runs

I am not sure how you have your Nvidia Drivers set up however this is typically what I run:

AF=16x
Anisotropic Mip filter optimization = ON // this will revert to OFF when HIGH QUALITY is set
Anisotropic sample optimization = ON // this will revert to OFF when HIGH QUALITY is set
AA =4x
Conformant texture clamp = use hardware
Extension limit = OFF
Force MipMaps = none
Gamma correct AA = ON
Hardware Acceleration = Single Display Performance mode   <---- Yours may be different
Ignore open GL error = ON
Negative LOD BIOS = CLAMP
OpenGL threading = AUTO
Texture Filtering= HIGH QUALITY (set this to QUALITY until you make the other settings in this list and save them, then set to HIGH QUALITY and resave)
Transparency AA = OFF
Trillinear Optimizationfiltered=ON
Triple Buffering = ON
Vertical Sync = use 3D Application
