Am not sure what the rest of you do, but I make my living on my computer. I could care less about a bench mark of a brag about how much someone can overclock. My computers are built for the long haul.
As far as apps go I can't tell the difference between my single chip computers and my dual chips (have 2 of each). If an app opens a second or 2 quicker on one I really don't care.
I agree with the fact that we would all love to own the best of the best but my budget does not allow that, and I sure as heck am not going to dump 4 AMD computers because Intel can out bench them.
