I was also pondering on upgrading from a P 4 to a P 4 HT Extreme.

this is because i recieve the blue screen of death on occasion

I was wondering if you guys could tel what my mother board it from my specs

Drumlineramos,

I'm afraid you are not able to upgrade to a P4 Extreme Edition. One, beacause Dimension 2400s cannot be upgraded, and two, your motherboard does not support the Extreme Edition. It's best to just buy a new PC.

hi, i looked at that pc and it def seems like a good buy to me. only prob is im gonna have to wait a while before i can get one cos of funds...im already commited to spending a grand on my car, so i'll need to sort that first.....damn.....   do you think i would benefit from a new graphics card and adding more ram, so i have 1 gb? or should i not bother for now and just wait till i can afford a new pc? cheers  :)

Don't bother upgrading your PC. Just buy the one that I gave you the link to. Raise the funds and jump on the deal!

If you're pushed for cash at the mo, a top of the range PC  (a currently top of the range I must stress) probably isn't going to be on your top list of priorities. You may want to think about building your own PC to a slightly cut back spec (no great performance cut I shouldn't think) - What do you think about you're ability to build a PC? If you can reformat a hard drive and install a GC you would probably be able to manage it. I can't believe that you couldn't hook up with a decent AMD64 base for about
