Virgin media... although I pay for a 20mbps connection it's never gone above 10mbps and as you can see, my average is just under 7mbps.. but that's ample for my needs really, I'm more restricted by upload speeds from other servers.  :P
I've had approx 3.2mbps (400KB) downloads from SimV premier though  :)

Coolcool! ;) thanks.. do you normally get those download speeds throughout the evening and late afternoons?

Thanks, :)

I'm on cable, yes. And apparently Virgin throttle their speeds in peak hours, which would explain why I get the speeds you see. All of the speeds in my graph were taken at "peak" hours, 7-8pm-ish... If I had the energy to get up at 3am I'd test it then  :P

apart from that I'd recommend Virgin media, I've been with them since 1994 when they were United Artists, through to Telewest then NTL/Telewest and have only had a few hours downtime, and that was when they were upgrading the fibre opticcs in my street.

I get 1.5mbps+ at peak hours and around 15-20mbps in the morning. (which I also just found out.) I might get a new card today...maybe. But I think my card doesn't supprt Antialising because I turned it off and RCT3 ran smooth but I haven't tried FS9 yet. I run on T1+ wireless. :P ::)

Ok, I have $150 left from the computer...that's enough for a 8600gt...

The new 8800GT is the go, 8600GTS ........... NOT a 8600GT as second choice.

So 8600GTS is the way to go?

The 8800GT is the go, then 8600GTS, ATI make a couple of cards that fit somewhere in between those two and may be a better choice than the 8600GTS. Depends on price.

8600GT, 8500 are low in spec and not suitable imho.
