how will FS9 run

Well I don't know what you lot are talking about. I've got FS9 running on a PIII 1GHz, 512MB RAM and a Ti4600! I'm getting between 20-25 FPS with all sliders maxed out. I spent a lot of time tweaking my system around but it is doable. I'm running at 1280*1024 in FS ;D

It's very doable!  but it does require the investment of time in learning how to tweak, tweak, tweak, tweak


Not really. I already mentioned how I set up my Sempron machine for the kids. Install, go. I did look up the video card over there, it's a geforce MX420 which is less than the Radeon 7500. I tweaked nothing, and locked the frames at 25. There they stay, unless over a dense city.
