yummy

glad I did not jump on the Nivida chest beating bandwagon. I know what I will be using for DX10

btw i saw those r600 reviews a week ago and apparently they are fake. so dnt get your hopes up.
i am however waiting for the r600 to be released becase

I saw the same thing and DailyTech was said to have contacted the owner of the site and reported they may be affiliated with AMD. Doesnt matter anyway because it will still be a few months before any good information hits the streets as to what is working best

YF, some of your shots are oversized btw. I dont see the point in spending so much on a card before all this new technology will come out in a couple months, kinda of a waste....

absolutely no offense is meant here, however your screenshots do not impress me. If that is what a 8800 produces even at 25-30 frames, I would rather wait for the right card. There are members with 7900GTX and ATI 1950's posting shots that display quite clearer ground textures and better autogen with clarity and still getting 20+ frames. Even my own system, although it runs about 15-18 (but fairly smooth), displays scenery better than those shots. I can see the streets and curbs sharp as a razor and have trees and autogen in the distance along with cars on the highways, all seen very clear.

If I am going to spend 500-600 bucks on a video card, its going to be on something that will provide a real meal, not a snack.

LOL!
The R600 bate the G80 in Doom 3! OWNED!

Thanks for the link! Oh, and my '850 can produce better results than that 8800GTX, you see, it all depends on how someone sets up there game / drivers.

YF, your dual X1950XTX's had bad Image Quality because you must of set it up wrong. My X850 with inferior speed to the Geforce 8 still produces better results than most peoples sims, even if they have a Geforce 8. Reason? I can set it up correctly.

However, if you set up a 8800GTX correctly, it will own my '850, so don't think that I am saying 'it only depends on how people set there sims / drivers up'.
