ive never liked ipods, just the status they carry, people have them because they are the in thing, which is realy gay, most people never even look around at others, they buy the iPod when their are loads better out their, liek zens and the recent zune.
plus ipods have always seemed unecersarily heavy for their size and they are built to last a maximum of 3 years...con or what!

I like the fact that iPods have some weight to them. It makes them feel solid and worth the money. I'm not going to say Zens are better than iPods. The first generation Zens were very nasty compared to the equivilent iPod of the time and I havn't seen anyone with a more recent one. As for the Zune, they seem to have sacrificed harddrive space for a big screen. Which isn't really what I look for in a music player.

What do you mean? The iPod most people buy is the 30GB video, and therefore Microsoft went right for the heart of the mariket. Now I will say that personally I would have prefered a 60GB flavor, but I have yet to fill up the whole 30GB, and when I do I'll drop in a 40GB drive to tide me over until I can get a larger Zune.

But honostly, who here actually has 30+ GB of music?

Cheers
