Then you would have your solution and then go from there, perhaps improve the case cooling which is not an expensive excercise. ( I simply leave the covers off myself )
Determine which component/s is/are overheating with a view to improving the situation. In an extreme case you may need to re-seat the HSF assembly onto the CPU, or it could just be that the HSF needs cleaning.
