well that computer was a non gaming, just ran for net surfing etc........ imagine mine........ (At one time was Overclocked 200Mhz) ran for 6 days straight 80C constant temps from time to time............ Surprised the chip hasnt fried..... currently running 55C now because of a slight breeze through the window and 60F outside. I am buying the fan/heatsink you suggested CT, thanks for the info, everyone! My dad figured out how the heatsink went back on the other computer. Now I just gotta wait until I can order the stuff (later today) I'll Keep you guys posted! oh and as for the thermal stuff, There wasnt anything left, just burnt paper/sticker like stuff I couldnt make heads or tails of, other than that just dust! Cheers, Gunny

Its a thermal pad. But just be carrful. I personally hate running my CPU over 60C let alone that as the idle temp. Its actually quite damaging to the chip doing that.

funny... My tower overclocked to the hilt running FS9 for 2 hours full boar nets a total noise level of 34.7dBA in a silent room. I'll get that down to 20-22dBA once the liquid parts arrive.  :P
