Lol you got ripped off. I just priced a better system for $1700 flat with XP Media centre edition, and a 19" wide screen. Yup kids you will find that no matter what, building yourself is alaways the best bet.

Oh ya and one more thing, you don't have a SLi motherboard, so thats going to need upgradeing soon anyway. FSX is going to be one of many games comeing out withen the next year where getting 60+ FPS on the highest GFX settings is going to require SLi or Crossfire.

You cartainly could have built it yourself for a hell of alot less, but, somebody else to build it and provide a warranty etc is what you've paid a premium for.

Its still a nice system.   :)

Actually its only a $125 build fee. Not bad for that kind of setup, even still with the $125 he payed extra he could have gotten a much better motherboard, and there are other things that could have been changed.

What's wrong with the mobo specified anyway, I had a look at the bios options, holy smoke, Emmanuel has to be a PC guru just to configure it, one of the most advanced I've ever seen.    :o

Thats one of two reasons as to why I dont like the choice of mobo. The other is there is

1x PCI-E x16
3x PCI-E x1
1xPCI-E x4

The x16 lane is the only one out of all of those that will ever get used. Two of the x1 lanes should just be turned into PCI, and the X4 should be another x16. I don't know, but I find that if your going to use an ASUS board on a Athalon system you may as well be useing a A8N series.

Emmanuel, there is no AMD 64 X2 4000+, so it's probably a 4200+ ;)

Well unknown your only half right.

First off, since yesterday there IS a Athalon X64 4000+ X2

Secondly to be absolutely correct you have to say its a 4200+ x2 as a normal 4200+ dosn't exist.
