I chose my card on one thing, "Bang for Buck" - considering I've been able to modify it to get even more performance (for free!) I'm a very happy bunny.

Consider this, by the time your average "Ultra" spec card is actually really having to work for its living, a future generation "Mid range" card will trounce it for half the money!

Compare a 6600GT to an FX5950 Ultra, you'll get my point I think. ;)
