I would definitely fall into the mainstream user.  I by no means like tinkering with my hardware or trying to keep up with all this, and am not the overclocking type.  I pretty much rely on advice given here after a bit of Googling. ;) In any case, is there any manufacturer that stands out in particular amongst the 6800 group?  And would I be better off getting a 128MB or a 256MB version?

I hath read the documents at hand, and must say, of the possibilities presented, I shall pursue the acquisition of the Gainward model.  The only remaining question to be answered dearest Sir: Of what speed would you consider to be good in regaurds to RAM?
