My 4 year old RAM died and since it became a nightmare to find decent DDR2 memory I decided to upgrade completely, at least I only retained my CPU, PSU and GPU.

The interior, I am still waiting for my 200mm Red LED fan (should arrive Tuesday) for the top serving as a exhaust fan.

Many thanks for the post and pics. Looks like a good job.  Did you see any performance increase in FsX?  I'm guessing with Fsx being so cpu intensive with the same CPU and GPU things might have improved but not that much but of course it's working and stable which is the most important thing!

It's been a long time since I built (well put together) a system which was my Fs9 PC which has a Sempron!!  An overclocked Sempron and Geforce 3 Ti100 64mb card actually ran Fs9 quite well for me anyway!

I run Fsx on my family's computer which is a Dell desktop Intel Core Duo E7400.  I have no idea if that is a good CPU or not as I kinda get lost these days but I've looked at overclocking it which apparently gives quite a boost but Dell make it very hard to do (like you have to take off the CPU and draw on it or something!).
