I think there won't be problems with the FPS unless you don't have a good video-card. And with the new flight coming i think you're fine too.

Hi,
What's your opinion of the i7-3930k for FSX?

I don't like the i7 I think it's not worth the price and the extra speed, l3 cache and extra memory channel does much. I like the core i5 alot more.
Otherwise: it's a good prcoessor yeah

Works fine with me i have 7 gb RAM. On a vista pc.

core i7 is triple channel.


I have the I7 3770K on a Z77 board and it is dual channel.
Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
Intel I7 3770K w/ Corsair H100
Thermaltake Level 10 GT
Silverstone 1000W PSU
